Summary: This study aimed to determine the lived experiences of students with actively involved parents of selected students in the UM Digos College. This study used the qualitative approach in which seeks to understand the social dilemma in natural setting and in research using in-depth interview as it is sought to determine the students’ lived experiences as their parents are actively involved in education. The respondents of this study are twelve (12) but there were only seven (7) who came to participate. Results revealed that most parents of college students were involved when it comes to financial, emotional, and moral support. Hence, there are some who were not able to fully engage themselves when it comes to school activities such as conferences and meetings. Moreover, parents need to know their duties and responsibilities in terms of their child’s education in order for them to distinguish the needs of their children. The researchers recommend for future researchers to widen their scope of selecting of participants and not to focus only on the higher years. Therefore, the more students likely to participate in school and increase higher level of achievement.
