Nowadays, poor nutrition and obesity are among the most important health issues are what we are facing in the society, not only in terms of health, but also health care expenses. There are a variety of predicators of obesity including genetics, physical activity, and food consumption. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eating habits and Body Mass Index of the STEM students of UM Digos College. Body Mass Index is a requirement to have a good health. This study used quantitative survey method. It determined the eating habits is fruits and vegetables which is sometimes practiced with the mean score 2.83 and the lowest level is the starchy food which is rarely practiced with a mean score of 2.43. the status of Body Mass Index of STEM students is 71.9% of the normal weight, 14.6% underweight, 7.9% severely underweight, 5.6% overweight, and majority of them are belong to the normal weight. The result also shows that there is no significant relationship eating habits and BMI of the STEM students.
