The study “Language Mimicry: Language Slurs Experience’ dealt on how students with indigenous affiliation specifically “Manobo” dealt with language mimicry, a subtle was of discriminating someone. This study also aimed to know if the speech pattern of the indigenous students enrolled in UM Digos College differ from the usually used language in the university which is Davoenong Bisaya. The analysis is carried out by the help of Pratt program and ToBi transcription script (Pierrehumbert 1990) which helped us analyze the speech pattern of the respondents. We also conducted as interview for the respondents to identify their view on language mimicry ang language discrimination. Upon finishing the study that there are no significant differences between the speech pattern of the native Bisaya speaker and the respondents. This is mainly because they have spent considerably long time communicating in Bisaya that made then accustomed to it. But although they don’t vary, they still feel that they are being stereotyped and discriminated.
