This study seeks to determine the factors affecting students’ interest in learning science subjects. Specifically, it aims to determine the level of interest of the participants in science subjects in term of their opinion, attitude, and experiences, and explore if there is a significant difference in the level of interest when respondents are analyzed by profile. Using a descriptive research design, the researchers employed a total of 266 respondents from the Department of Teacher Education (DTE) of UM Digos College. Results revealed that there is no significant difference between the levels of interest in science subject when analyzed by age and sex.
