Calvo, P.G., Basadre, M.R., & Salodar, D. (November 2018). Alternative Fertilizer for Welsh Onion (Allium Fistulosum): An Experimental Study. Digos City: University of Mindanao.
This study aimed to identify the better fertilizer for Welsh onion (Allium Fistulosum) between goat manure and compost tea with eggshell. Using an experimental method of research design, the researchers observed and analyzed the growth of Welsh onion in terms of length, width, and appearance in a span of three weeks. Results revealed that compost tea with eggshell was better fertilizer option than goat manure. The study recommends for future studies to conduct soil analysis that will identify the nutrients present in the soil.
