Summary, etc. Disasters, which are increasingly frequent and intense resulting from climate change, mainly affect families with disabled children. In light of these escalating challenges, understanding mother's experiences caring for children with physical disabilities during such environmental crises becomes paramount. Through a qualitative-phenomenological research design, this study uncovered the challenges, coping, and life-learnings of mothers of children with physical disability in the face of environmental disaster. A purposive sampling technique was employed to ten (10) participants for face-to-face, in-depth interviews. Subsequently, responses were analyzed, identifying prevalent themes through a thematic analysis. The findings unveiled a spectrum of challenges encountered by mothers of children with physical disabilities during environmental disasters. Moreover, the study illuminated the diverse coping mechanisms employed by these resilient mothers. Lastly, this research shed light on the profound life lessons garnered by these mothers while raising a child with physical disabilities most especially in times of environmental disasters. Hence, this study contributes to a deeper comprehension of the complex dynamics at play in disaster-affected families with disabled children, offering a foundation for informed policy development, support systems, and interventions tailored to meet their unique needs. Moreover, this study empowers mothers of physically disabled children by providing valuable insights, strategies, and resources to navigate environmental disasters with greater resilience while ensuring their families' welfare and safety. Keywords: environmental disaster, psychological fortitude, challenges, coping mechanisms, life-learnings, physical disabilities
