| Summary, etc. | This study was conducted to assess UM Digos College graduates’ employability and mobility towards improving the BS Criminology Program. A descriptive type of research was utilized and a modified graduate tracer study questionnaire from commission on Higher Education (CHED) was used in data gathering. Furthermore, this study focuses on the demographic profile, nature of work, relevance of work in profession and the values being developed during college days, which was sought to be helpful in doing their current job. In the analysis of the data, this study made used of graphs and tables as a statistical presentation of the results. The total number of respondents of this study is 113 students out of 149 graduates covering the graduates from 2012-2015. Based on the findings, it was found out that most graduates passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) and landed in a job related to law enforcement and public safety. Among the values that graduates had acquired in college, they found strong ethics as the most useful value in achieving employment success. The respondents showed high levels of positive perception of success with regards to the factors that may affect their career. With the result of this study, it can be concluded that the totality of UM Digos College Department of Criminal Justice Education’s curriculum is useful and effective in preparing its graduates for the licensure examination. The values that students acquired during college is relevant to the requirements of the work place when they practice their profession. Thus, it is recommended that the institution should constantly evaluate its graduates to provide basis for its programs.<br/><br/><br/>Keywords: Tracer study, Criminology graduates, Employability, UM Digos College, Philippines<br/> |
