Digos City: University of Mindanao.

This study was conducted to analyze the students’ performance of the Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education (BTTE) 2015-2017 graduates of the University of Mindanao Digos College (UMDC). It determined the students’ performance in three subject components such as General, Professional, and Specialization and performance along the components of the Licensure Examination for Teacher (LET). A teacher education graduate must have a valid professional license to be employed as teacher. A descriptive-correlational research design was used to study the direction and magnitude of the relationship between the variable involved in the study. The research subject was the LET examinee of University of Mindanao Digos College from the 2015-2017, Board rating were asked from the registrar. The researchers used mean, frequently and percentages in describing the students’ performance to the LET ratings. To improve LET performance syllabi and review materials should be updated according to the CHED memorandum order and should conformed to the National Competency-Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS) and Professional Regulation Commission, as it should intensify their admission and retention policies, they should screen upcoming graduates through a valid Teaching Aptitude Test, conduct review classes, attendance to training, seminar-workshops/conferences should be encouraged, and workloads should be regulated.

Keywords: LET Rating, Enhancement Program

Locator: UT 1022/V71/2018
